HDMI to BNC? Is that possible?

What I would really like to do is hook up my security system (CCTV) to my HDTV. Then when I'm watching TV I could change to picture-in-picture to watch my camera and make sure everything is OK.

The problem that I'm having is that my CCTV system uses BNC and my TV only has HDMI inputs. Does anybody make a converter that will allow me to go from HDMI to BNC? I'm sure other people have had this problem too.
actually the vga transition should degrade the signal slightly, so Id avoid that.

this is HDMI to BNC (as in the composite video signal used in security systems, also common via yellow RCA) not HDMI to RGB (the VGA signal) also, to address your comment, its a common misconception that analog video (like VGA) is inferior in quality than digital (like HDMI).

VGA degrades the signal? Can you explain?

I'm not sure if this would work or not, but one idea is to hook up a BNC to VGA adapter to a VGA to HDMI converter. I'll see if I can figure out a way to test this to see if it works, but it would be cool.
